1) I felt really astounded by all the damage I've witnessed. We've already encountered many storms in the past, but the death toll is what really took me by surprise. I usually hear death tolls being in the hundreds but I'd say this is the first time I've seen it being in the thousands.

2) I would suggest improving the social and economic infrastructure so the impoverished would be less likely to be affected by the storms.

3) People live in vulnerable areas because they are not wealthy to afford to live in more secure locations.
